ENLIGHTENMENT TEXT REGARDING THE PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

 

The personal data requested for the services to be provided by us, as Çelebi Havacılık Holding Anonim Şirketi (“ÇHH” or “Company”), are processed, maintained and shared in accordance with the Turkish Constitution, Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 on ("KVKK") and secondary legislation.     

 

The purpose and subject matter of this Enlightenment Text (“Enlightenment Text") prepared in accordance with Article 10 of KVKK;

 

  1. The purpose and type of personal data collected by ÇHH,
  2. How this personal data are stored and used,
  3. With whom ÇHH can share your personal data,
  4. Your rights to your personal data processed by Çelebi and how you can use them,
  5. It is about explaining your communication possibilities with us regarding your requests.

 

In this respect, as the data controller under the KVKK, we would like to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data are processed, to whom they are transferred and about your rights under the KVKK. 

 

1. Data Controller 

Within the scope of KVKK, your personal data are processed by our Company as data controller within the scope and purpose stated below. 

 

  1. For what purpose are your personal data processed?

ÇHH may process personal data in order to fulfill its legal obligations arising from the relevant legislation, in particular the Law No. 5651 on the Regulation of Publications on the Internet and Suppression of Crimes Committed by Means of Such Publications and the related secondary legislation, Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce and related secondary legislation, and the Turkish Penal Code No. 5237 and the KVKK. 

Depending on your legal obligations, your personal data are processed by ÇHH in order to be able to perform the service you will receive from our company effectively and efficiently, and to use it in all kinds of marketing activities to be conducted through wishes and complaints management, event management and corporate communication, your e-mail and mobile line.

 

  1. With whom can we share your personal data?

For the purposes above, your personal data collected may be processed and shared with third party server providers resident in our country or abroad, service providers, suppliers, business partners, insurance companies and persons at the Company's stations, the Company's branches, the Company's subsidiaries, group companies, public institutions and organizations, private law persons, the Company's websites and social media pages without limitations depending on the nature of the personal data and the actual requirements related to the law or service. 

 

 

4. Personal data retention period

In accordance with KVKK, all your personal data will be stored in our Company's databases as long as the service relationship between us continues and in accordance with the relevant legislation. Your personal data will be removed, destroyed or anonymized by us ex officio or upon your request in accordance with our Company's Personal Data Retention and Disposal Policy after the periods required by the applicable legislation.

 

5. Your rights to your personal data

You have the right to learn the personal data which are processed, whether they are used for processing purposes, the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom personal data are transferred, to change, update and/or delete your personal data that is processed incorrectly or incompletely or if there is any change in your personal data processed, to request that this be notified to third parties to whom your personal data have been transferred,  to object to the occurrence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems, to claim compensation in case of damage caused by unlawful processing of personal data.    

 

6. The measures we take to protect and protect personal data

Protecting personal data and storing them in a secure environment is of utmost importance to us. For this reason, your personal data are stored in systems that use the highest level of security measures in an infrastructure that has international standards and all technical requirements. These storage areas may be located in domestic/overseas storage areas by companies contracted by ÇHH.

ÇHH takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to protect against unauthorized access to personal data or loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration or destruction of this information. 

ÇHH undertakes to keep your personal data confidential under all circumstances, to take all necessary technical and administrative measures to ensure confidentiality and security and to exercise all due diligence. Although ÇHH has taken the necessary information security measures, in case of personal data being damaged as a result of the attacks on the web site and the system, or transferred to the possession of third parties, ÇHH will notify you immediately and take the necessary measures in accordance with the relevant legislation.

 

7. Your Requests and Their Evaluation

If you would like to make any updates to your personal data or learn more about the data processing policy of ÇHH, you can send your request to us by sending an e-mail to celebicommunications@celebiaviation.com. All your requests will be evaluated within 30 (thirty) days in accordance with Article 13 of KVKK and you will be informed about the outcome of your request.
